Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, cardiac-focused PCU setting
• Independently interpret cardiac rhythms without technical assistance and pass a proctored, paper-based Dysrhythmia Exam on the first attempt
• Administer and manage common cardiac drips, including Insulin, Milrinone, Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix, and Nitroglycerin
• Manage patients with complex cardiac conditions and frequent admissions/discharges
• Assist with common cardiac procedures such as Right & Left Heart Catheterizations, TR Band Management, Sheath Removal/Management, Stent Placement, Valve Replacement Procedures, STEMI/NSTEMI Care, Pacemakers, ICDs, Cardioversions, Ablations, and Groin Site Management
• Manage patients requiring chest tubes
• Float to similar cardiac/PCU units as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) License
