About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Through our partnership, you'll gain exposure to a dynamic company while receiving the support and guidance of our recruiting team throughout the process. Salary 65-75k - DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and perform account reconciliations
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for internal stakeholders
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP)
- Support audit processes and provide required documentation
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3+ years of accounting experience (public or industry)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
