- Lead negotiations involving SaaS subscriptions, software licenses, cloud services, maintenance agreements, professional services agreements, Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, change orders, purchase orders, and related documentation
- Manage contract redlines and coordinate closely with internal legal teams and external vendors to resolve commercial and contractual issues

- Negotiate pricing, discounts, renewal protections, licensing rights, service levels, and other commercial terms with software publishers and technology providers
- Partner with IT leadership and technical stakeholders to translate business and technology requirements into clearly defined commercial agreements
- Support vendor selection and competitive sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFQs, bid evaluations, and category-management initiatives
- Develop productive relationships with technology vendors while holding suppliers accountable for pricing, performance, compliance, and service delivery
- Analyze software and technology spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve license utilization across the organization
- Support budgeting and forecasting by tracking contractual commitments, anticipated renewals, pricing adjustments, and technology expenditures
- Maintain accurate contract, renewal, purchase-order, and vendor information within ERP and contract-management systems
- Monitor contract compliance, resolve vendor disputes, and identify opportunities to improve procurement and contract-administration processes
Required Qualifications:
- At least three years of direct experience in software procurement, SaaS contracting, software licensing, technology vendor management, software renewals, or IT contract administration
- Demonstrated experience negotiating SOWs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, software license agreements, maintenance agreements, and professional services agreements
- Experience managing vendor redlines and negotiating contract terms in partnership with legal teams
- Strong background supporting an enterprise IT organization, shared-services environment, or IT Center of Excellence
- Experience managing software subscription, licensing, maintenance, and renewal lifecycles
- Working knowledge of software licensing models, cloud subscriptions, IT professional services, and technology-vendor pricing structures
- Strong commercial negotiation, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple contracts, renewals, purchase orders, and negotiations simultaneously while meeting firm deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex contractual and commercial terms to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, accounting, or a related discipline; five or more years of directly relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience negotiating agreements with major enterprise technology providers such as Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, AWS, Google Cloud, or managed services providers
- Experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Oracle Financials, or a comparable enterprise procurement platform
- Familiarity with contract-management systems and advanced document-redlining tools
- Contract administration or contract negotiation certification
- Experience supporting an energy, infrastructure, industrial, or similarly asset-intensive organization
The ideal candidate is a commercially minded IT procurement professional who understands both the details of software agreements and the broader business impact of technology spend. This individual will be comfortable challenging vendor pricing, leading complex negotiations, collaborating with legal and IT stakeholders, and independently managing a high-volume renewal and contracting portfolio.
This is an individual-contributor position with the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to technology and business leaders across a growing midstream organization.
