Sr People Technology Product Manager - Workday

Gilead Sciences seeks a Senior People Technology Product Manager to lead Workday implementation and optimization within HR. This role combines deep technical expertise with solution architecture to deliver scalable HR technology solutions supporting global process standardization and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Workday subject matter expert and solutions architect for Core HCM initiatives
- Lead end-to-end Workday delivery including requirements, design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Partner with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to align architecture with business outcomes
- Conduct system audits and performance tuning to ensure optimal reliability and user experience
- Maintain compliance with GDPR, OFCCP, and Sarbanes Oxley controls in Workday environment
Requirements
- 8+ years Workday implementation and support experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, or equivalent experience
- Technical lead experience on multiple full life-cycle Workday implementations
- Deep knowledge of Workday architecture, object model, and security models
- Experience with Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, or Time and Absence modules
- Proven ability to deliver products connecting multiple systems with measurable business impact
- Workday Pro certification or additional Workday certifications strongly preferred
