Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Location: Thornton, CO

Pay: $23-$26/hr DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for candidates with shipping and receiving experience who enjoy working independently while supporting multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments and materials.
• Process domestic and international shipments using FedEx and UPS systems.
• Prepare shipping paperwork, customs documents, and export documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and organize warehouse materials.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and support operational teams.
• Safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials following safety guidelines.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Follow OSHA, ISO, and company quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience.
• Experience with domestic and international shipping required.
• Familiarity with FedEx Ship Manager, UPS, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of customs and export requirements.
• Forklift certification and operating experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience handling inventory and material tracking.
• High school diploma or GED.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
