PROJECT ENGINEER, KEY ACCOUNTS

Overview Mycronic's Global Technologies division seeks an experienced Project Engineer, Key Accounts, within the Applied Plasma business line (Surfx Technologies). Surfx Technologies offers atmospheric argon plasmas for high‑volume manufacturing of integrated circuits, semiconductor packages, printed circuit boards, and other microelectronic devices. The Project Engineer will serve as the dedicated point of contact throughout the entire client lifecycle, building strong partnerships through on‑site visits and coordinating internal resources to exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities Communicate clear project status at every stage from PO entry to arrival at customer dock. Ensure proper part number entry, configuration/mix of components, ship to destination, and timing needs are understood and communicated internally and externally. Connect and orchestrate the roadmap for continuous improvement and feature requests. Provide proactive and regular updates on open PO’s during production. Fast‑track special requests from customers, integrating them into our active development roadmap. Ensure transparency during quality or lead time challenges by providing honest, timely updates, and clear, date‑driven action plans. Interpret drawings, manage submittals, and prepare technical documents such as RFIs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and coordinate with subcontractors and field staff. Maintain a hands‑on, organized, detail‑oriented approach while working in a fast‑paced environment. Travel 10‑20% of the time. Be willing to meet with customers during Asian business hours. Experience And Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred). Minimum five years of project management experience for B2B equipment. Expert proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, Project, and core Office suite. Strong communication skills across global time zones. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Compensation Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Expected range is $120,000.00 – $145,000.00.
