Description

TITLE: MARKETING CLERK APPROVED: October 1, 2024 The Marketing Clerk is responsible for assisting with all aspects of marketing. Assisting with concerts, community events, website, public relations, and social media production, coverage, and distribution.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for supporting overall marketing coverage for promotions or events, including assisting with designing and implementation of advertising projects and campaigns.
2. Supports the Entertainment Coordinator in all entertainment needs. Assist with social media production, scheduling of posts, organic ads, and messages for each media platform as directed.
3. Assist in maintaining company's digital signage and website.
4. Assist with responding to guests' comments on social media platforms on behalf of the company.
5. Assist with distribution of marketing/advertising material at sponsored events.
6. Support the Legacy Rewards Club when requested.
7. Keep accurate inventory of office supplies, donation supplies, media equipment, entertainment equipment, and event equipment.
8. Assist with ordering all supplies for concerts and events, donation requests, sponsored events, and social media contests for the Marketing Department.
9. Assists with company holiday or special event decorations.
10. Assist in coordination of all company community relations efforts including, but not limited to press conferences, tribal events, political events, property tours, press releases, and chamber events as directed.
11. Assist with communication of events on and off property. Must be knowledgeable with all services, products, promotions, and events offered on property.
12. Assist with guest service on social media and sponsorships.
13. Prepare and process billing purchase orders, purchase authorizations, and check requests.
14. Assists with preparation and attends sponsored events in representation of Eagle Mountain Casino on or off property as directed.
15. Process timely response of all donation/sponsorship requests, and maintain accurate records as directed.
16. Process approved donation requests: gift baskets, giveaways, check requests, event scheduling, and attendance.
17. Communicate and coordinate distribution of approved donations and sponsorships.
18. Contribute to daily social media, to ensure positive promotion of the property.
19. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training required.
20. All other departmental duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

1. The minimum age requirement is twenty-one (21).
2. High school diploma or equivalent required.
3. Exposure to a hospitality environment.
4. General knowledge of gaming, including slots, video, bingo, and card games.
5. Must have digital marketing experience with social media and websites.
6. Business clerical experience required.
7. Must be computer literate and be proficient in Microsoft Suite, social media sites, and the internet.
8. Exposure with mobile and desktop image and video editing.
9. Able to type 45-50 WPM.
10. Must be able to speak in public.
11. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, not required.
12. Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
13. Must be task orientated.
14. Must be available to work some nights and weekends.
15. Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable through the casino's insurance carrier.
16. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:

1. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit.
2. Repeatedly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
3. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
4. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
5. Environment is office setting, occasional visits to the casino floor, and frequent visits to the event center before, during, or after events.
6. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
7. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
8. Must be able to travel.
9. Noise level is normally an office setting, moderate to loud when on casino floor or events.
10. Exposed to cigarette smoke, ringing bells, and flashing lights when on the casino floor.
11. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
