The Company is in search of a Chief of Anesthesiology to join their mission-driven community hospital. The successful candidate will be a transformational leader, providing strategic and operational direction for the Department of Anesthesiology, including the Preoperative Department, Operating Rooms, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Key responsibilities for the Chief of Anesthesiology include clear and confident communication across clinical and administrative teams, driving and managing change initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, and demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability for service line performance. The role also involves leading by example, maintaining a 50% clinical / 50% administrative workload, and recruiting, mentoring, and retaining a high-performing team of anesthesiology professionals. Applicants for the Chief of Anesthesiology position at the company must be board-certified in Anesthesiology, with a proven track record in clinical leadership and a passion for service in a diverse, high-acuity urban environment.
