Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer (API Integrations)

Role Description

We are seeking a Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer with strong API integration experience to design, build, and support secure, scalable digital experiences and consent/preference capabilities on the Salesforce platform. This role will focus on Experience Cloud development, Salesforce consent data modeling, and integrations using modern authentication with Gigya and cloud integration patterns (including Azure).

Design and develop solutions on Salesforce Experience Cloud, aligned to role-based access and secure portal patterns.
Build and maintain Apex services, controllers, triggers, and integration utilities following best practices.
Develop responsive UI using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and configure automation with Flow.
Implement and extend the Salesforce Consent Data Model to support preference and consent management use cases.
Write efficient queries using SOQL and apply robust error handling, logging, and monitoring.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs and OAuth 2.0 (connected apps, named credentials, auth flows).
Apply integration patterns (e.g., API gateway, identity, event/messaging patterns) to support enterprise interoperability.
Collaborate with architects, admins, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions through the full SDLC.
Contribute to CI/CD and release processes and support production deployments and incident resolution.

Qualifications

5-8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Hands-on delivery experience with Experience Cloud projects.
Strong integration experience with API-based enterprise solutions and cloud integration platforms.
Proficiency in:

Apex
Lightning Web Components
Flow
Cloud Consent Data Model
APIs
OAuth 2.0

Requirements

Nice to Have:

Marketing Cloud experience.
Experience with event-driven architecture.
Familiarity with cloud security patterns (zero trust concepts, token-based auth, least privilege, secure API design).

Certifications (Preferred)

Salesforce Platform Developer I (strongly preferred)
Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred)
Salesforce Integration Architect (nice to have)
Experience Cloud Consultant (nice to have)
