Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

Position Overview
Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join the UHS Orthopedic Center in Vestal, New York. Responsible for high volume operative trauma care, including complex fracture management, periarticular reconstruction, and acute/post‑traumatic surgical interventions in a Level II Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Perform operative trauma procedures on a high volume of cases.
- Manage complex fracture repairs and periarticular reconstructions.
- Provide acute and post‑traumatic surgical interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary orthopedic team (total joint, sports medicine, hand surgeons).
- Integrate with Advanced Practice Providers and support staff to optimize patient access.
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
- Experience in a high‑volume trauma center setting preferred.
- Strong surgical skill set in complex fracture and periarticular procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive starting salary ranging from $685,000 to $965,000, with sign‑on bonus, annual bonus incentives, moving expenses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement plans, health, dental, vision, and additional wellness programs.
Location
Binghamton, NY – 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY. A progressive college community with a strong healthcare presence.
