Strange Loops automates operations with specialized AI agents at the world's largest asset managers, financial institutions, and professional services firms, touching trillions of dollars in assets.

Our customers often ask whether they are buying a platform or a team. The answer is both.

We are a team of exceptional generalists: equally comfortable mastering our customers' processes as well as their associates, building and supporting AI systems that automate it, and carrying what we learn in the field back into our platform.

Our goal is to remove as many layers as possible between the customer, the engineer, and the product. We don't have salespeople, product managers, or layers of management, nor do we divide engineers into infra/ML/FDE silos.

This model is not right for many exceptional engineers, nor should most companies adopt it. But we believe institutional finance represents the largest opportunity in AI, and that over the next decade, a team organized this way can transform major financial institutions more profoundly than the usual enterprise software value chain.

This model also allows us to preserve the trust and upside that scale usually destroys:

• We have no middle management, are remote-first, and keep process to a minimum, with one recurring meeting every two weeks

• We highly encourage experimenting with AI tools and building our own internal versions

• We share profits equally across the engineering team, targeting $1M+ avg comp by 2027
