Commercial Real Estate Attorney

Job Details Title: Commercial Real Estate Attorney Location: Mid- sized NYC full-service business, corporate, and real estate firm. Type: Full-time, permanent Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year Responsibilities Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial real‑estate agreements, including leases, purchase and sale contracts, joint‑venture agreements, and financing documents. Providing legal counsel to clients on all aspects of commercial real‑estate transactions, including due diligence, zoning and land‑use issues, environmental matters, and risk management. Representing clients in negotiations with landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, lenders and other parties. Conducting legal research and providing timely and relevant advice to clients on complex commercial real‑estate matters. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals and support staff to ensure the delivery of high‑quality legal services. Keeping abreast of changes in commercial real‑estate laws and regulations and advising clients accordingly. Qualifications A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar. A minimum of 6‑15 years of experience in commercial real‑estate law, with a focus on leasing, drafting, financing, purchase and sale, and joint ventures. Proven experience in representing clients in complex commercial real‑estate transactions. Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills. A deep understanding of commercial real‑estate laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues. A high level of professionalism and adherence to strict ethical standards.
