Material Handler – Warehouse

Join our team as a Material Handler and help keep operations running smoothly. You’ll take part in raw material storage, moving materials throughout the manufacturing plant, and ensure accurate labeling, weighing, and prep for production or shipment—all while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

What you’ll do

• Store and organize raw materials in the warehouse to company standards.
• Move materials from the warehouse to processing locations across the production plant.
• Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse and outdoor storage yard.
• Prepare, weigh, and stage mixed materials for outbound shipment.
• Receive and label incoming raw materials accurately.
• Transfer parts between containers (totes, bins, pallets) as needed.
• Safely collect, handle, and dispose of logistics-related waste per procedures.
• Follow all plant safety policies, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and traffic rules.
• Track inventory movements and update logs or spreadsheets as required.

What you’ll bring

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate storage and labeling.
• Extensive forklift experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
• Basic computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking.
• Good communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand/walk off and on throughout the shift.
• Commitment to safety and willingness to follow standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and outdoor exposure. There is no climate control at our facility.

Schedule

• 4/10s schedule (four 10-hour days)
• Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Breaks: 9:30–9:40 AM, 3:00–3:10 PM; Lunch: 12:30–1:00 PM
• Occasional overtime may be available based on production needs.

Pay and benefits

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
• Overtime eligible.
• After a 90 day probation period, you will qualify for our health insurance plan. After 1 year of employment you will be eligible for our 401K Plan.

Requirements and nice-to-haves

• Required: Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Required: Ability to lift 60 lbs and pass a pre-employment screening.
• Preferred: Experience with inventory systems (WMS/ERP) and basic shipping/receiving.
• Preferred: Experience in manufacturing or plastics/materials handling.

Work environment and PPE

• Warehouse and production plant; indoor/outdoor tasks.
• PPE provided and required (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots; additional PPE as needed).
