With over 100 years of innovation in sustainable infrastructure and our expertise in engineering, procurement, consulting and construction, together we are building a world of difference.As the Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater Conveyance, you will manage execution of the engineering component of multiple traditional, design-build, design-bid-build, and collaborative delivery projects including pumping stations, underground conveyance, and carbon neutral solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on high profile municipal projects.Supervise and mentor engineering staff, identifying developmental growth opportunities.Manage budgets, scheduling, and correspondence with clients and project management in support of a project.Key Responsibilities:Project Execution: Prepare complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projectsAssist in the research to develop equipment and material recommendationsPrepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principlesDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplinesLead production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a projectClient Interface:Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projectsCommunicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutionsProvide support for business development or pursuit activitiesManage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervisionTechnical expertise:Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverablesProvide input to technical leadership for complex and large diameter water and wastewater conveyance projectsDrive solutions to achieve project goalsManagement Responsibilities:Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignmentsMentoring, and performance management of assigned personnelPreferred Qualifications:PE licensePrevious engineering consulting experienceExperience executing multi-discipline water and wastewater conveyance projectsMinimum Qualifications:Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.Minimum of 5 years related work experience.Black & Veatch endeavors to make accessible to any and all users.
