About Accurex Accurex, a division of the Greenheck Group, delivers kitchen ventilation solutions including hoods, exhaust fans, make‑up air, rooftop units, controls, variable volume systems, fire suppression, and utility distribution. Position Summary Account Manager responsible for managing and developing an assigned sales territory to achieve sales targets, customer expectations, and order volume and profitability goals. The role requires maintaining and building strong business relationships with key customers using knowledge of Greenheck products, applications, and CAPS software. Responsibilities Listen to and understand customers’ needs, challenges, and opportunities to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions. Sell, promote and market Greenheck Group products according to customers’ needs and expectations. Develop and manage a sales plan to increase sales effectiveness within the assigned territory. Grow and develop new business while maintaining and further developing existing business partners. Provide product quotes in CAPS to customer engineering and purchasing teams. Maintain regular contact with customers, including updates on new products, resolving issues, providing potential solutions to problems, design changes, and creative cost‑reduction ideas. Work directly with Business Unit team members regarding product questions and Special Design Requests (SDRs). Coordinate with the inside sales team to clarify and quantify information regarding customer inquiries, orders and order status. Proactively seek out purchasing decision makers and develop solid business relationships. Present highlights of our products and service capabilities throughout the company. Explore opportunities to sell additional Greenheck Group products to existing customers. Promote facility or corporate visits with strategically important customers and business partners. Attend trade shows, product shows, and industry functions to stay informed on marketplace changes. Travel as needed within the assigned territory. Assist in contract negotiations and provide technical and application assistance to consultants to influence design and specification requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, or related field. 2-4 years of relevant experience in direct or outside sales. Mechanical engineering or outside sales background desired. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Willingness to work autonomously. Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software desired. Analytical ability required. HVAC experience desired. Territory The position covers the New England territory and may be based in any city within that territory and surrounding areas. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to all parts of the territory. Compensation & Benefits The role includes a base salary with a competitive commission structure based on performance. Anticipated total annual compensation ranges from $80,000 to $208,000. Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs, repetitive wrist and hand motions, and close visual acuity. Occasional mobility for in‑person meetings.
