Employment Type: Travel Contract
Location: Olympia, WA, US, 98506
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 5x8 Hours (3:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
Pay Rate: Up to $35.00/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining specimen integrity, and supporting laboratory operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures.
Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.
Process and transport specimens according to established protocols.
Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record system.
Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
Collaborate effectively with laboratory and clinical staff.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent Phlebotomy experience.
Current Washington Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (WA MAP) credential required at the time of submission.
Current BLS certification required.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
