Position Title: NY/Radiation Therapist – Oncology Unit
Location: Ithaca, NY
Job Type: Contract | Travel or Local
Shift: Day Shift | 5x8-Hour (7:45 AM – 4:15 PM)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate (Local): $60 – $64/hr
Pay Rate (Travel): $76 – $78/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to deliver high-quality radiation treatments in a hospital-based oncology unit. The role requires strong technical expertise, precision, and compassionate patient care while operating advanced radiation therapy systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation treatments using linear accelerator technology

• Operate TrueBeam systems and AlignRT/Vision RT surface-guided therapy

• Perform Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)

• Accurately position patients and verify treatment parameters

• Monitor patients during treatment and maintain detailed documentation

• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and NY regulations

• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification (Radiation Therapy)

• Active NYSDOH license

• Minimum 5 years of Radiation Therapy experience

• Experience with TrueBeam and AlignRT/Vision RT systems

• Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and patient communication skills
