Skillwork is looking for an addition to the Direct Hire Team! Our Direct Hire recruiters partner with manufacturers across the country to identify, engage, and place high-performing skilled trades professionals in long-term career opportunities. We go beyond filling openings. We help solve workforce challenges by building pipelines of talent that support our clients' long-term growth. What You'll Do

As a Direct Hire Talent Sourcer, you'll be responsible for identifying and engaging skilled trades professionals for permanent opportunities across the manufacturing industry. You will serve as the first point of contact for candidates and play a critical role in building talent pipelines that drive successful placements.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source skilled trades and manufacturing professionals for direct hire leadership opportunities nationwide
• Identify and engage both active and passive candidates through job boards, online databases, social media, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach campaigns
• Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates across maintenance, electrical, mechanical, automation, controls, and leadership disciplines
• Conduct initial candidate qualification conversations to assess technical skills, experience, career goals, relocation preferences, and cultural fit
• Develop talent maps and candidate networks within key markets and industries
• Generate candidate referrals and expand professional networks to create a sustainable pipeline of talent
• Utilize phone, text, email, and social media outreach to engage prospective candidates
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate records within the ATS and CRM systems
• Monitor market trends, compensation expectations, and talent availability within the skilled trades industry
• Consistently build talent communities so qualified candidates are available before positions become urgent

What You Bring

• Experience in sourcing, recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or a related field
• Strong research and candidate identification skills
• Ability to engage candidates and build rapport quickly
• Confidence initiating conversations with passive candidates
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously
• Experience utilizing job boards, resume databases, social media, and other sourcing tools
• Comfort working within ATS and CRM platforms
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to produce results
