Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care facility (Level II Trauma Center, 379 beds)
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Float between units within the facility as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in weekend coverage, with an expected 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU/Telemetry RN experience required
• Must be available for an all-telemetry PCU environment
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Prior experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
