Payroll Specialist | Up to $66k

LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a growing, well-established organization seeking a Payroll Specialist. This role will support a high-volume, multi-client environment with responsibility for full-cycle payroll processing, client communication, and compliance support. This is a hands‑on opportunity with strong client and leadership exposure and clear growth potential. Responsibilities Serve as primary point of contact for payroll‑related client questions Manage workflow across multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities Prepare and reconcile payroll reports; ensure accuracy and timeliness Support quarterly and annual federal and state payroll tax filings Troubleshoot payroll system or processing issues Process payroll for a portfolio of clients on scheduled cycles Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and internal processes Handle payroll adjustments, corrections, and off‑cycle processing Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation Communicate proactively to ensure accurate and timely data submission Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred Payroll experience preferred; open to training Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Excellent communication and client service mindset Team‑oriented with a collaborative approach Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems Interest or progress in CPP certification a plus Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match PTO with increases Growth opportunities within a stable, team‑oriented environment Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
