Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist

Part-time Accounts Payable Specialist (20-24 hours per week) - Littleton, CO, in-office Pay rate: $24-26/hour Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). We are seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle accounts payable processing, vendor administration, and corporate card review. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and strong internal controls in a mission-driven environment. Responsibilities: Perform full-cycle accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, coding and approval verification, weekly payment runs, and payment-file review Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain complete, organized supporting documentation Maintain vendor records and tax documentation, including Form W-9 collection and verification Review corporate card activity, including receipt collection, coding verification, approvals, and follow-up on outstanding items Maintain accurate financial reports, records, procedures, and audit documentation Identify opportunities to strengthen workflows, documentation, internal controls, and segregation of duties while maintaining efficient, responsive service Safeguard confidential employee, banking, and vendor information, using sound judgment when handling sensitive transactions and inquiries Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience required Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and reconciliation tools Experience with Financial Edge/Blackbaud and Ramp preferred Experience in nonprofit, higher education, or fund accounting preferred Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
