Help
Administer the Military Treatment Facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program (ICP), including policy and procedure development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and liaising with internal and external committees.
Advise leadership on program resources, equipment, personnel, and practice improvements.
Apply epidemiologic principles and data analysis to track, trend, monitor, and prevent infections.
Implement Infection Control Risk Assessments, and risk reduction and error prevention strategies to reduce Healthcare-Associated Infections and improve patient care.
Develop Infection Prevention and Control education and training for the Medical Treatment Facility's staff.
