Duration: 06+ Months - Temp to perm with the right candidate
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Workday Payroll Specialists to support U.S. payroll operations. This opportunity includes two positions focused on either Pre-Payroll or Post-Payroll activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in U.S. payroll processing, tax filing, and Workday Payroll administration.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Payroll Specialist
- Prepare and validate payroll data prior to payroll processing.
- Review employee records, earnings, deductions, and timekeeping data.
- Ensure payroll inputs are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Coordinate with HR and Payroll teams to resolve discrepancies before payroll runs.
Post-Payroll Specialist
- Perform payroll audits and reconciliations after payroll processing.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
- Support payroll reporting, compliance activities, and tax-related processes.
- Ensure accurate payroll records and documentation are maintained.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with U.S. Payroll Processing .
- Experience supporting Pre-Payroll and/or Post-Payroll activities.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Payroll .
- Experience with payroll tax filing and compliance .
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage payroll operations in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Payroll Pro Certification strongly preferred.
- Candidates with Workday Payroll certification may command a 1015% premium due to market demand.
- Experience supporting large-scale payroll environments.
