Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans per patient needs and physician direction. Delegate and direct discipline‑specific therapy services; supervise and mentor assistants and students. Design functional treatment programs to support return to community activities. Serve as educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers. Complete timely, accurate documentation (evaluations, goals, progress notes, and outcome measures). Ensure care is under signed physician orders and within payer approvals. Adhere to professional codes, confidentiality, safety protocols, and infection control. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional development. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Texas Physical Therapist license. BLS certification from AHA or ARC. Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting per clinic and payer requirements. Experience with functional outcome measures, goal writing, and letters of medical necessity preferred. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students preferred. Maintain professional licensure and meet state‑mandated continuing education requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings. Experience with electronic medical records and charge entry. Experience precepting students. Compensation Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
