Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic procedures, work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare providers, and instill a sense of security in patients through timely and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with warmth and professionalism
• Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Meticulously document procedures and manage patient records using the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
