A pharmacy opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists with expertise in inpatient, ER, and outpatient pharmacy settings. This contract assignment is based in Peridot, AZ, and is open to candidates willing to travel or relocate. The role offers a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, with variable shift times including nights, days, swing shifts, and weekends.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily administrative pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. You will manage departmental policies, supervise staff development, and oversee inventory management to ensure cost-effective and timely pharmaceutical availability. The role also involves planning and optimizing computer-based dispensing systems and participating in ongoing training and educational activities to maintain skill competency.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of five years of professional pharmacy experience, including at least two years in a management role
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) with one year of residency experience
• Current, active, and unrestricted state pharmacy license; Arizona license preferred
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Inpatient/ER experience required; ACLS and PALS certification preferred (PALS can be obtained on-site within the first month)

Technology systems used include Scriptpro with SP200 Robot, RPMS Electronic Health Record, transitioning to a new EHR system.
