Shuttle Driver

Monday - Friday Walton, OH

Pay rate - $28.00/hr + Bonus

$1100 - $1900 Weekly plus bonus potential although wage may differ based on experience

Job Specifications:

• Valid Class-A CDL
• 2 years' experience operating Class-A equipment
• Safe driving record
• Family friendly attitude

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Safely deliver freight in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of equipment.
3. Comply with all Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier, and state and local laws and regulations regarding safety and compliance.
4. Adhere to company safety and operational policies and procedures.
5. Proactively communicate service issues with driver manager.
6. Immediately notify driver manager of an accident/incident involving equipment damage or an on-the-job injury, and complete the proper forms in a timely fashion.
7. Communicate and update status information with dispatch in a timely fashion.
8. Turn in legible, accurate and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
9. Maintain professional contact with customers and other carriers.
10. Carefully follow instructions and directions.

Marginal Functions:

1. Participate in Safety Review Committee meetings.
2. Train and mentor new drivers on proper and safe driving techniques and procedures.
