Industrial Maintenance Technician

$25.00 – $37.00/hour
Day Shift | Full-Time

About the Role

We are hiring a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility in Carson City. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing critical equipment including furnaces, cranes, pumps, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect and maintain equipment including hydrogen/vacuum furnaces, overhead cranes, forklifts, and DI tanks
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems
• Monitor and maintain water systems, pumps, pressure gauges, and cooling systems
• Perform hydrogen sensor calibration and leak detection
• Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to equipment issues
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs
• Support facility upkeep (lighting, general repairs, safety compliance)
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, or manuals
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to Have

• Experience with furnaces, pumps, or industrial equipment
• Familiarity with calibration or sensors
• OSHA or safety training certifications

Work Environment

This role works in an active manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, temperature changes, and industrial conditions. PPE is required.
