Position Overview:

\n

Our client is seeking a Director to join their dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in restructuring, turnaround, investment banking, consulting, or a related field, and possess exceptional leadership skills and financial modeling skills—particularly in 13-week cash flow forecasting. This is a high-impact role that offers meaningful responsibility across engagements from day one, diagnosing performance issues, leading financial and operational workstreams, and driving execution across restructuring and turnaround projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client engagements focused on turnaround, liquidity management, restructuring, and operational improvement
\n
• Develop and manage detailed 13-week cash flow models, business plans, and operational roadmaps
\n
• Evaluate business viability and create restructuring strategies aligned with client goals and stakeholder expectations
\n
• Advise on debt restructuring, refinancing strategies, and negotiations with lenders and creditors
\n
• Manage day-to-day communication with clients, advisors, lenders, and investors
\n
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to business development efforts
\n
• Support clients across industries, with a strong preference for those with consumer industry experience
\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 7+ years of relevant experience in restructuring, turnaround, financial advisory, or investment banking
\n
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and 13-week cash flow forecasting
\n
• Track record of success in leading restructuring engagements or driving operational change
\n
• Experience working with distressed businesses, both in- and out-of-court processes (e.g., Ch. 11, ABCs)
\n
• Exposure to the consumer sector is highly preferred
\n
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and manage multiple stakeholders
\n
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus
