Construction Site Superintendent

Job Title: Construction Superintendent Reports To: Owner / Principal Supervises: Field Laborer(s), Subcontractors Location: Projects across Northern NJ and NYC Job Summary The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing daily on‑site operations across one or more high‑end residential construction projects. This role focuses on field execution, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining project quality, schedule, and safety standards. The Superintendent works in close communication with the owner and project team to ensure all site activities align with design intent and construction documents. Key Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities at multiple active job sites Coordinate and manage subcontractors, material deliveries, and field logistics Maintain daily job logs, upload field documentation, and track progress in Buildertrend Ensure work is performed safely, to code, and in accordance with approved plans Supervise in‑house laborers and assign daily responsibilities Perform quality control checks and flag deviations from drawings or specs Draft material requests and assist with purchase orders Manage site cleanliness, tool inventory, and protection protocols Coordinate inspections and ensure readiness for key milestones Communicate regularly with the owner about progress and field conditions Qualifications 3–5 years of single‑family residential construction experience; luxury or custom homes a plus Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar project management tools Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field workflows Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred Must be comfortable working exclusively in the field across multiple job sites #J-18808-Ljbffr RS Mannino
