Litigation & Construction Law Associate

Miami, FL | 3–5 Years Experience

Direct Counsel represents a leading national law firm seeking a motivated Litigation & Construction Law Associate to join its growing Miami practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney with construction experience to handle sophisticated disputes, work directly with clients, and take on meaningful responsibility within a collaborative and growing team.

The Role

• Manage Florida construction litigation and complex commercial disputes from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide practical legal guidance.
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys on sophisticated construction and commercial matters.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation experience .
• Experience with Florida construction litigation and complex commercial disputes .
• Ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Law firm experience preferred.
• J.D. and active Florida Bar admission required.
