Job Title: Assembly Operator
Job Description

Join our team to manufacture, assemble, and process medical device components and products. You will utilize light tools and equipment following instructions and specifications from drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect metal parts under a magnifying glass or microscope for 4-5 hours per day.
• Perform shape setting by using mandrel fixtures and placing parts on fixtures.
• Handle chemicals by operating equipment that processes these materials.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and assembly, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using a microscope and conducting data entry.
• Ability to speak and read English fluently.
• Comfortable working on a production floor with light gowning and around chemicals.
• Capability to repetitively lift 10-15 pounds and operate machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with small part assembly.
• Ability to utilize measurement tools and devices as required by the process.
• Demonstrate good manual dexterity.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment with three main areas: a clean room for assembly and subassembly operations, a laser area for cutting and shaping small nitinol components, and a materials area for working with raw materials, which is heavier and dirtier. The position offers two day shifts from Monday to Friday and one graveyard shift from Sunday to Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.15/hr.
