Certified Surgical Technologist - Orthopedic Specialty
Location: York, Maine
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: This position requires shifts of 4 - 9 hours scheduled between 6:45 am and 4:15 pm, with a call rotation.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced certified Surgical Technologist to join our OR Team. The ideal candidate will have orthopedic experience and be prepared to support surgical operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies in accordance with best practices to ensure safety and efficiency during procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in the operating room.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Orthopedic surgical experience is mandatory.
- Ability to respond to on-call requirements, including returning to the facility within 45 minutes if called back.
