Requirements

• Required certification: PCVICU
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years Peds Cardiac ICU experience required; CV and Pediatric experience required; VAD experience highly preferred 2. Cases: Pediatric cardiac congenital conditions, cardiac surgeries, ventricular assist devices, heart transplant, cardiac catheterization 3. Certifications: PALS, BLS required (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association); ACLS preferred (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association) 4. License: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required; SC license prioritized, pending acceptable with proof of application 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, 7P-730A; 1:1 or 1:2 ratios; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; holiday rotation; float to NICU, PICU, Pediatric Stepdown 8. RTO: All RTO must be provided at time of submission; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers; 7+ days/holidays require facility approval 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals considered at lower rate; non-locals prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12.
