Network & Infrastructure Administrator

We are looking for a Network & Infrastructure Administrator to take ownership of daily IT operations, including infrastructure management, network stability, and end-user technical support. In addition, this role plays a critical part in supporting an ISO/IEC 27001-certified environment. The selected individual will contribute to maintaining information security controls, supporting audit requirements, and driving ongoing compliance and process improvements. A strong working understanding of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), risk mitigation practices, and compliance within a manufacturing or production environment is highly important. Core Responsibilities Deliver daily technical support to both office personnel and manufacturing/shop-floor users Administer Active Directory, including user provisioning, permissions, and group policy management Manage user access and connectivity for ERP systems and related applications Provide troubleshooting and support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals Support production-floor computing systems, including terminals, networked devices, and basic application issues Oversee on-premise network infrastructure such as switches, firewalls, and wireless access points Maintain and support Hyper‑V virtualization environments, including VM performance, availability, and backup integrity Administer Windows Server environments including AD, DNS, DHCP, file services, and print services Track system performance, availability, and capacity metrics while proactively addressing potential issues Support disaster recovery planning, documentation, and testing activities Coordinate with external service providers, including: Managed Service Provider (MSP) Network/security monitoring partner (Binary Defense) Internet and telecommunications providers Manufacturing and industrial equipment vendors (e.g., CNC machinery, robotics systems) Engineering design and document management software providers Assist with security operations including endpoint protection, incident response coordination, and monitoring activities Ensure external vendors adhere to internal IT, security, and operational standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and operational procedures Evaluate, recommend, and support infrastructure upgrades and modernization initiatives Assist in integrating manufacturing equipment and systems with network infrastructure where required Required Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of experience in systems administration, network administration, or infrastructure support Strong hands‑on experience with: Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory administration TCP/IP networking fundamentals, VLAN configuration, and firewall concepts Windows workstation support and troubleshooting Experience supporting ERP systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with end users and external technical vendors Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills with a practical, service‑driven approach Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting Background working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and external security monitoring teams Exposure to backup technologies, disaster recovery processes, and cybersecurity frameworks Basic PowerShell scripting experience for automation or administrative tasks Familiarity with Microsoft Access databases for support or maintenance purpose If you meet the qualifications outlined above, we encourage you to apply, and we'll schedule an interview with you.
