Our teams deliver the Holman Experience by treating our customers and each other as we would like to be treated, and creating positive, rewarding relationships all around.The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.Leith Nissan has an outstanding opportunity for a General Manager to join their team and the Holman Family!Principal Purpose of Position:Plans, develops and implements and ensures compliance with organization policies and goalsProvides counsel and direction to the activities of sales, service, parts, body shop, F&I, and administration to affect operational efficiency and economyDirects and coordinates promotion of services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industryAnalyzes department budgets to identify areas in which profit opportunities can be maximized or cost can be minimized and operating budget can be achievedConfers with administrative and managerial personnel and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations requiredThrough communication, oversight and direction works to ensure employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and return on investmentPromotes the recruitment and development of dealership managers and non-management employeesExamines pay practices and develops pay plan models to achieve budgetary goalsLiaison with the manufacturer; works with factory representative to achieve factory objectives.Provide strategic planning and the execution thereof to meet long term dealership goals.Ensure all HR topics are monitored and appropriately managed along with the necessary documentation.Recruiting and developing future leadersPerform all other duties and special projects as assignedEducation and/or Training:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; and 8+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Relevant Work Experience:6+ years of dealership experience at a department manager level, or similar related work; knowledge of the principles, concepts and methodologies of department operations to ensure the profitability of the dealership.Pay:We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $300,000 - $350,000 USD annually for full time employees.
