Registered Nurse - Complex Family Planning

Position: Complex Family Planning Registered Nurse Location: Niles, IL (remote 2 days/month possible) Role: Provide clinical triage and compassionate nursing support for patients with complex family planning needs, including contraception and pregnancy termination considerations. Responsibilities Assess medical, surgical, obstetric, gynecologic, medication, and reproductive histories to determine appropriate care. Educate patients on contraceptive methods, pregnancy options, procedures, medications, testing, and follow-up. Support patients seeking pregnancy termination with nonjudgmental care, including pre- and post-procedure support and follow-up. Recognize complications and facilitate timely clinical evaluation and intervention. Coordinate appointments, testing, referrals, and follow-up to ensure seamless care. Participate in quality improvement, clinical workflow development, and staff education initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in applicable state. Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred). Experience in women’s health, family planning, or OB-GYN clinical settings. Strong assessment, triage, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
