Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Corona, Queens

Position Summary:

We are excited to be expanding services at Plaza del Sol, our Corona-Queens Family Health Center and opening up an entire new floor. In line with this expansion, wee are seeking new associates to join our team in the capacity of C linical Therapists (LCSW). As key mental health professionals, the individual provides clinical assessment and individual therapy for patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work from Accredited Institution is required.
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• 1-2 years of experience providing counseling
• Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors in patients and families that impact health status.

Key Duties:

• Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
• Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children within public schools.
• Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
• Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
• Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
• Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
• Participates in clinical team meetings.

Starting Compensation:


Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per year

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:

Onsite, Corona, Queens, Monday to Friday shift.
