Position Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced financial services environment. This role will be responsible for general ledger activities, reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close while ensuring accuracy and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support financial reporting and variance analysis
• Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Analyze financial data to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Hands-on NetSuite experience Highly Preferred (Not Required)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience in financial services, mortgage, or related industries
• Exposure to multi-entity or high-volume transaction environments
• Experience supporting audits and internal controls
