Staff Accountant

Position Summary The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining general ledger accuracy and conducting daily reviews of designated bank activity to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. Key Responsibilities Assist with the month-end close process to ensure complete, accurate, and timely recognition of financial activity Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify and explain significant variances Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts to supporting documentation Process journal entries, including monthly accruals Review daily banking activity and ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the general ledger Support internal and external financial statement audits Maintain clear, organized documentation to support management review and audit requirements Respond to questions from accounting team members and provide guidance as needed Support and help maintain an effective internal control environment related to financial reporting Contribute to general accounting projects by providing data analysis and recommending process improvements Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders Assist with additional accounting tasks and special projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems required #J-18808-Ljbffr Alltek-Staffing-
