We need clinicians who can meet them there.At Backpack Healthcare, we're making behavioral healthcare more accessible for children, teens, young adults, and their families. Our care is delivered virtually, covered by most insurance, and grounded in the belief that families deserve care that reflects who they are, how they communicate, and what they value.As a clinician-led, minority-owned organization, we're growing — and we're looking for therapists who understand that culturally responsive care isn't a bonus feature. It's essential.If you speak English and Spanish and want your language skills to make a real difference in the lives of families, we want to meet you.The RoleChoose the schedule that works best for you — part-time or full-time — while building a meaningful caseload of 15–36 sessions per week.You'll provide individual, family, and group therapy through telehealth, with the flexibility to create a schedule that works for your life.Most clinicians work weekday afternoons and evenings, typically 2–9 PM. Weekend availability is a plus.You'll:Conduct clinical intakes and assessmentsDevelop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plansProvide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealthCollaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of our interdisciplinary teamSupport parents and caregivers through education and care coordinationMaintain timely and accurate documentation in our EHRProvide culturally responsive care that considers each family's language, culture, and unique needsCompensation + Monthly Bonus PotentialWe believe great clinicians deserve to be fairly compensated and recognized for the work they do.$45–$65 per billable hour, based on license levelMonthly bonus potential for eligible clinicians based on applicable productivity and performance criteriaMedical, dental, and vision for eligible full-time employees$401(k) with 3% company matchPaid time off$300 annual CEU reimbursementFree clinical supervision for eligible LMSW/LPC roles$25,000 company-paid life insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramClinical leadership opportunities, including our Residency & Fellowship ProgramEarn More While Making an ImpactEligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn an additional monthly performance-based bonus on top of their regular billable compensation.Bonus eligibility is based on applicable productivity and performance expectations, giving you another opportunity to increase your earnings while being recognized for consistently providing high-quality care.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for clinicians who bring strong clinical skills, cultural humility, and a genuine commitment to children and families.Required:Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LCSW-CExperience working with children, adolescents, and familiesAbility to work independently in a remote environmentStrong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skillsCommitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practiceStrongly Preferred:Bilingual English/Spanish cliniciansThis isn't simply a "nice-to-have."
