Work Environment This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home in Columbia, Maryland, or surrounding areas. Utilizing our advanced telehealth platforms, you will engage with clients through secure video sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized tools to identify clients’ mental health needs. Design, implement, and continuously refine tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments, ensuring they align with best practice guidelines for mental health. Provide high-quality individual therapy, and couple and family counseling, addressing various psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and more. Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adapting treatment methodologies as necessary to ensure the highest standards of care. Maintain meticulous and timely records of client interactions and treatment outcomes in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists—to enhance holistic client care. Uphold ethical and legal standards in all therapeutic practices, staying informed about current mental health laws and practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients represent a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic practices. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, addressing various mental health challenges such as trauma, mood disorders, behavioral issues, and life transitions. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is a minimum requirement. Active and unrestricted state licensure as a mental health therapist, including designations such as: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) Preferred Experience At least 2 years of professional experience in providing therapeutic services. Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar approaches tailored to client needs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive client relationships and effectively collaborate with colleagues. A self-starter mindset capable of working independently as well as engaging in team-based approaches to client care. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
