Position Overview

Renco Health & Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a seasoned Licensed Mental Health Therapist to enhance our integrated care team, focused on delivering exceptional outpatient mental health services. This full-time remote position offers a salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients through their recovery journey, specifically addressing the complex interplay of mental health and substance use disorders.

As a member of our dedicated team, you will collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines to ensure that each client receives personalized and effective treatment.

Work Environment

This role is designed to be performed entirely remotely, offering flexibility and a comfortable working environment. You'll have the opportunity to work from home while maintaining close communication with an interdisciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists. We embrace a collaborative culture, where teamwork and shared insights contribute to providing superior care. Our typical working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours required based on client appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed and comprehensive assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, identifying co-occurring disorders that inform the treatment plan.
• Collaborate directly with clients to create personalized treatment strategies that leverage evidence-based practices, ensuring a tailored approach to their unique circumstances.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients’ coping mechanisms, developing relapse prevention skills, and fostering emotional resilience.
• Engage in care coordination activities with our multidisciplinary team to synthesize insights and optimize integrated treatment pathways for each client.
• Implement regular substance use monitoring and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients’ active participation in their recovery process.
• Educate clients and their families regarding the relationships between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of adherence to treatment protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all treatment-related activities to comply with ethical and legal regulations.
• Participate in case conferences, trainings, and team meetings to continually enhance professional skills and improve treatment methodologies for co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on clients struggling with both mental health issues and substance use disorders. You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals at various stages of recovery and from different backgrounds. Your role will be pivotal in empowering these individuals with the tools and resources they need to achieve sustainable recovery and a better quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is a must.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment models for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• A solid understanding of the dynamics between mental health and substance use challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and effective communication within an interdisciplinary care team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health clinic or similar integrated care setting is preferred.
• Previous involvement in case management or interdisciplinary collaboration is advantageous.
