Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Atlanta, Georgia

An opportunity is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to support an outpatient oncology infusion center. This contract role focuses on chemotherapy preparation and administration in a specialized cancer treatment facility.


Location:

• Canton, GA (note: local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Duration:

• 13-week contract starting April 27

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments in an outpatient infusion setting
• Utilize IV start skills and access implanted ports to facilitate patient care
• Comply with oncology pharmacy standards and safety protocols during drug preparation
• Support clinical staff in the delivery of cancer therapies, excluding blood transfusions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings
• Current Pharmacy Technician license in Georgia
• Certification in chemotherapy (Chemo Cert) specifically for outpatient oncology
• Proficient in IV chemotherapy preparation and administration, including implanted port access
