Cabinetry Sales & Design Consultant

Pay: $45,000–$150,000 per year
Work Location: Field-based with showroom time

About the Position

For more than 23 years, Woodcase Fine Cabinetry, Inc. has designed, manufactured, installed, and serviced its own line of modular and custom cabinetry.

We are seeking an experienced Cabinetry Sales & Design Consultant who understands the cabinetry business from initial customer relationship and design through estimating, bidding, and project handoff.

This is a relationship-driven sales position for an experienced cabinetry professional who can independently develop and maintain relationships with builders, remodelers, designers, and homeowners while identifying new business opportunities and helping grow our custom and residential cabinetry business.

The ideal candidate combines strong sales ability with hands-on cabinetry and design knowledge and is comfortable working independently in the field as well as meeting with customers in our showroom.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business and build long-term relationships with builders, remodelers, designers, and other industry professionals.

Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the residential construction and remodeling markets.

Meet with builders, designers, and homeowners to understand project requirements, budgets, and design objectives.

Read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

Design kitchens and other cabinetry solutions based on customer needs and project specifications.

Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and bids.

Present cabinetry options, finishes, layouts, and design recommendations to customers.

Manage opportunities from initial contact through design, bidding, and sale.

Follow up consistently on outstanding proposals and opportunities to help convert bids into awarded projects.

Coordinate with internal design, manufacturing, installation, and customer-service teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to production.

Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales and project process.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of residential construction sales experience required, preferably within modular and/or custom cabinetry.

Demonstrated knowledge of cabinetry, kitchen design, and residential construction.

Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.

Experience working directly with builders, remodelers, designers, and consumers.

Strong sales, relationship-building, and business-development skills.

Ability to independently prospect for and develop new business.

Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with the broader team.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

$45,000–$150,000 per year , based on experience and sales performance.

Work Environment

This is an in-person position that includes regular travel throughout the local market to meet with builders, remodelers, designers, and customers, along with time in the Woodcase showroom.
