Medical Lab Scientist

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Lab Scientist for our ER Lab at a fast-paced facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing point-of-care testing and supporting essential laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct point-of-care testing for patients in the ER.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and Lab Director.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to provide accurate and timely results.

Work Schedule

Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with 12-hour hours.

Qualifications

• MLS or MLT certification through ASCP or an equivalent organization.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with point-of-care testing is preferred.

Position is based in Ogden, UT.
