Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Physical Health Therapist to join our dynamic team at Paradise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center in Bakersfield, California. Work Environment

This position requires an onsite presence at our modern rehabilitation center, equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources to support effective patient recovery. As part of a collaborative team that consists of experienced physical therapists and physical therapy assistants (PTAs), you will work in a professional and supportive environment that promotes teamwork and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, identifying their functional limitations and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training, to enhance patient mobility and strength.
• Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour, providing focused, personalized care during each session.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document all care rendered using EMR platforms, such as WebPT, ensuring accurate and timely patient records.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle through education and motivation, guiding patients to achieve their wellness goals.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain awareness of emerging trends and practices within the field of physical therapy to provide the best possible care to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population includes individuals undergoing rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our therapists are skilled in handling a diverse range of cases, from post-operative recovery to sport-specific injury rehabilitation, allowing us to offer specialized care that addresses both acute and chronic issues.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, with no history of disciplinary measures or board actions against your license.
• Strong understanding and application of manual therapy techniques.
• Expertise in developing and implementing exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), particularly WebPT or comparable platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired.
• Familiarity with treatment methodologies specific to sports medicine and functional rehabilitation.
• A background in patient education and community wellness initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and commitment to excellence in patient care.
