SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our collaborative team in Bakersfield, California. We specialize in providing outstanding physical therapy services primarily for patients with private medical insurance. Our focus is on orthopedic outpatient care, where we emphasize promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery.

Work Environment

Our onsite rehabilitation center fosters a supportive and dynamic work atmosphere where teamwork and collaboration thrive. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and a welcoming environment designed to motivate both our staff and patients. As part of our team, you will work alongside two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care available. Your work will be centered around the patient, with the flexibility to develop individualized rehabilitation strategies that yield the best results.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze patient conditions through personal evaluations to establish treatment needs and goals.
• Administer a curated treatment plan focusing on orthopedic recovery, including rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
• Maintain an effective patient workload, typically managing one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized care.
• Employ a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patient mobility, strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Document progress, evaluate treatment effects, and adjust care plans based on real-time feedback and considerations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Encourage lifestyle changes and provide education on preventative measures to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring an empathetic and engaging therapeutic relationship.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At SpringLeaf, our primary focus is on orthopedic patients requiring outpatient rehabilitation services. These patients often seek to recover from injuries or surgeries related to musculoskeletal conditions. In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with a diverse patient demographic that includes athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals seeking pain management solutions, all striving to regain their full functional abilities and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No prior disciplinary actions or board sanctions on your professional record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice approaches.
• Ability to create and conduct tailored exercise regimens that align with individual rehabilitation goals.
• Experience and proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior hands-on experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in managing patient caseloads effectively while delivering exceptional care.
• Familiarity with various treatment modalities and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
