Work Environment

This role is located onsite in our rehabilitation center, where you will be part of a collaborative team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured and routine workday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs for rehabilitation and create individualized care plans.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions utilizing a variety of techniques aimed at enhancing mobility and physical function.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and attention to each individual.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and manually assist patients through specific movements to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs customized to the requirements of each patient.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and maintaining detailed documentation of all services provided.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to design a comprehensive treatment strategy that optimizes patient recovery.
• Promote a healthier lifestyle through education on the importance of physical fitness and injury prevention.
• Support and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they stay engaged and committed to their recovery goals.
• Assess the impacts of treatments and maintain clear communication with patients about their progress and treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic outpatient cases, dealing with a diverse range of conditions from postoperative rehabilitation to sports injuries. We primarily treat patients with private medical insurance, enabling us to offer tailored treatment plans that focus on their specific recovery needs. By employing the latest techniques and methodologies in physical therapy, you will strive to enhance their quality of life and movement potential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualifications from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, ensuring compliance with professional healthcare standards.
• A clean record with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, essential for effective treatment delivery.
• Ability to develop and implement exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• Competence in utilizing EMR software platforms such as WebPT, pivotal for efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges in this patient population.
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technology and methodologies that align with current best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
