Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite rehabilitation facility equipped with modern therapeutic tools and treatment spaces designed for physical therapy activities. The collaborative atmosphere encourages teamwork among our staff, which currently consists of two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, allowing a consistent workflow and ample time to focus on each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' physical therapy needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Utilize diverse treatment techniques to provide cost-effective interventions that maximize motion and mobility, thereby enhancing the overall patient experience.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs that promote patient engagement and overall health improvement.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic care, motivating patients throughout their recovery journey to achieve optimal functional abilities.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including primary care providers and specialists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress accurately to maintain high quality of care standards.
• Participate actively in continuous professional development, staying current with best practices and evolving methodologies in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, often covered by private medical insurance. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be crucial in delivering personalized rehabilitation plans and hands-on support that foster independence and confidence in their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California with a Bachelor's or prefered Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification.
• No history of disciplinary actions or board-related sanctions on your professional record.
• Strong understanding and proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and billing processes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing individual exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education level.
